About us
The European Youth Portal offers European and country level information about opportunities and initiatives that are of interest to young people who are living, learning and working in Europe.
It addresses young people, but also other stakeholders working in the field of youth (youth organisations, youth workers, policy makers, etc.).
Structure
The content is organisated under 4 main sections:
- “Get involved”
- “Go abroad”
- “EU initiatives”
- “EU Youth Strategy”
- In addition, you can read stories of young people, look for events and check the latest news.
In the “Get involved” section, you can find articles about active citizenship, from different angles:

In the “Go abroad” section, you can browse the different opportunities related to:

In the “EU initiatives” section, you can locate information about different initiatives and programmes funded by the European Union like:

- DiscoverEU

- European Youth Week
In the “EU Youth Strategy” section, you can access information related to the EU Youth Strategy, developed under the framework of the EU youth policy cooperation for 2019-2027.
All these sections can be accessed from the homepage or from the main menu.
You can also use the search bar to easily access the information you are looking for.
Languages
The website navigation and the content is available in the 23 EU languages. The content related to DiscoverEU is also available in IS, MK, NO, SR, TR.
You can change the display language of a page anytime by clicking on the language selector. Doing so will also change the navigation language of the website.
News, articles, events and stories are only translated using automatic translation. For this, once you change the display language, you still need to click on 'Translate this page'.

The Portal allows visitors to submit questions by clicking on the button “Questions” and filling in the form in any of the languages used on the Portal. These questions will be answered by the Eurodesk Network.
